When is this option available? | Call to inquire. This service offers volunteer drivers who are screened and trained by the ACS and donate their own free time and the use of their cars. |
How far ahead do you need to plan? | Four (4) business days' advance notice is desirable, although 2 days prior to the appointment may be adequate (not including the date transportation is needed). |
What accommodations are available? | Patients must be ambulatory, able to walk unassisted to and from the vehicle, or have an accompanying caregiver to assist.
