The Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging predicts that by the end of 2016, the Commonwealth will have more residents over the age of 60 than those who are 20 or younger. By 2025, one in four drivers nationwide will be 65 or older.
This spring, a two-part panel entitled “What’s your Plan for Driving Retirement?” will focus on this silver tsunami and help older drivers and their families talk about ways to reduce their reliance on automobiles.
